Job Description
Dorostkar Immigration & Legal Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Passenger Car Mechanic to join an established automotive workshop in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining passenger vehicles. Strong technical knowledge, proven work history, and English language proficiency are required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in passenger cars.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake systems, tires, and engine tune-ups
- Inspect vehicles and complete safety reports
- Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Must Have
- BValid certification or diploma in Automotive Mechanics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing passenger vehicles
- Proficiency in English (valid language certificate such as IELTS or CELPIP)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Nice to have
- Red Seal Certification (or willingness to obtain in Canada)
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
- Knowledge of Canadian safety and automotive standards
- Additional language skills (Farsi, Spanish, etc.) are an asset
